Dr. Pelin has leveraged her diverse cultural experiences to enrich her dental practice across continents, from the United States to Australia. Raised in Sydney, she completed her Bachelor of Arts with a double major at the University of Sydney before earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University in Arizona, where she was honoured with the Dean’s Clinician Award for her outstanding performance. After practising in San Francisco, California, where she expanded her expertise with a wide variety of patients and dental practices, she returned to Sydney. Born into a family deeply rooted in dentistry, with a father who’s an orthodontist and a mother who is a pediatric dentist, Dr. Pelin has been passionate about dentistry from a young age.

Dr. Pelin adopts a conservative and holistic approach to dental care, emphasizing the connection between dental health and overall well-being. Her areas of expertise include restorative and cosmetic dentistry, restorative implantology, orthodontics with clear aligners, treatment of jaw disorders (TMD), interdisciplinary case management, and addressing sleep apnea. At Sydney Dental Implants (TDP), she introduced an extensive sleep apnea screening program for children to address this often overlooked and misdiagnosed condition that can significantly impact a child’s health.

When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Pelin enjoys exploring the great outdoors through hiking and fly-fishing adventures with her husband Ricky and their son Tiago. She is also a keen participant in Sydney’s vibrant food scene and values spending quality time with her family and friends.
